Osaka Seiko Ltd. was established as a processor of steel wire for cold heading in 1960. Since then, we always work to response customers needs by expanding our product choices, and developing a foreign market. We are working on the challenges for the new technical development in order to make sure that our future work will benefit our customers. In addition we get down to develop the new products contribute to the reduction of CO2. Our business policy is that "We aim at the glamorous company for customers, employees, and business partners. History of Osaka Seiko
- 1960
- Established at present location as a factory specializing in steel wire for screws.
- 1960
- The first phase of construction of the head office and main plant is completed and operations begin.
- 1973
- Nara Plant is completed and begins operations in Kawanishi-cho, Isogi-gun, Nara Prefecture.
- 1976
- Production of deformed steel wire begins at the head office plant.
- 1986
- Production of cold heading parts begins at the Nara Plant.
- 1998
- ISO 9002 certification.
- 2000
- ISO 14001 certification.
- 2002
- APT, a cold heading parts manufacturing company, is established in South Carolina, U.S.A.
- 2003
- Obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification.
- 2003
- Production of steel wire for bearings begins at Nara Works.
- 2006
- Installed a cold rolling mill at the head office plant.
- 2008
- Invested in Shinko Special Steel Wire (Pinghu) Co.
- 2011
- Construction of Kyushu Plant completed in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
- 2013
- Invested in Jiangsu, China-based Shensho Osaka Seiko (Nantong) Co.
- 2017
- One STC furnace is added to the Kyushu Plant.

- Obtained ISO 9001 and ISO 14001:2015 versions.
- 2018
- Installed waste sulfuric acid recovery equipment at the Kyushu Plant.
- 2019
- A new factory building was added to the Nara Plant. (Third factory)
- 2020
- Newly installed pickling facilities and sulfuric acid recovery equipment at the Nara Plant.

- Two STC furnaces were added to the Nara Plant.
