Osaka Seiko Ltd, Headquarters is located in the roots of Mt.IKOMA has a rich natural. Nara plant close to “Ikaruga-no-Sato” where is famous city historically.
In addition Kyusyu plant is in Kitakyusyu-city, Fukuoka.
On the basis of plant locations, we have been working on contributing toward community by communicating with city administration and community through action of environmental preservation. And we recognize that environmental preservation is urgent and essential issue for human. Osaka Seiko Ltd. works on environmental preservation as one of the most important issue of the managements.

For environmental preservation, It is essential that changeover from mass consumption to recycling system that prioritize recycle, reuse and reduce.
Through these views, we must ensure the environment management systems, and we urge activities listed below to take a hard look at our businesses, manufactures and services for reduction load against environment.

《Ultra fine grain steel wire》

Osaka Seiko succeed in producing “Ultra fine grain steel wire”that has a characteristic grain size less than 1μm. It is special steel that have Tensile strength 900Mpa or more, and that can be manufactured by cold forging.
“Ultra fine grain steel wire”is effective in CO2 emissions reduction by omitting Annealing in wire manufacturing process, and Carburizing, Quenching／Tempering, Baking after cold forging. There are also advantages to recycle by using non-alloy steel. We care about environmental protection.

《Amount of water used and Effluent reduction》

Osaka Seiko has introduced RO filter system. We are working to reduce amount of water used by reusing waste-water.
